Bred in North Wales to bolt fox, badger and otter, the Welsh Terrier carries real working courage under an unusually level head. It's playful, game for anything and less quarrelsome than many terriers — though a squirrel is still a squirrel, and recall remains negotiable.

Are Welsh Terriers hypoallergenic?
No dog truly is, but the wire coat sheds very little and drops less hair around the house than most. Regular stripping keeps it that way.
Are Welsh Terriers good with other dogs?
Better than many terriers, but same-sex squabbles and chase-triggered scraps do happen. Early socialisation makes the difference.
How much exercise does a Welsh Terrier need?
